A “Green” Approach to Improving Your Home

The New Jersey Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program, sponsored by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, offers financial incentives on energy efficient improvement packages. The program is centered around a “whole house” approach. Rather than repairing one single problem, such as an old heating system or drafty window, the idea is to understand how improvements throughout your entire home can work together to obtain the best results.

An important goal of making “whole house” improvements is reduced energy waste. Less energy waste decreases the production of green house gasses, which positively affects the environment. For this reason, there are significant, financial incentives to the program -- the more energy efficient improvements packages installed, the greater the eligible incentive. Currently, the program is offering a 50% cash rebate (up to $10,000) and 0% interest loan if your estimated utility bill savings are 25% or greater. We encourage you to contact Stashluk at 908-277-6200 to set up a home evaluation. By taking advantage of this incredible program, you will achieve reduced energy waste, while positively impacting your budget.
